Student teaching eats my life. Some days are great, some are average, and some are just days to be endured before the weekend. The students are fun, though--I like middle school age. Why are others so horrified of it? They're actually pretty fun, and they still look up to their teachers a certain amount. A few are pills, of course, but most of them are just great.
In other news: I think I was just asked out on a date for tomorrow, and I accepted. I'm still not quite sure how I feel about this. I dated someone for 3 months once, and that was almost 3 years ago. It was not a bad experience, but we discovered we were much better off as just friends. Since then, I have had passing interest in some guys, but nothing serious. This particular guy is one who I have had some interest in, but I haven't really thought about him much lately because I've been so busy with student teaching. It was kind of nice, being too busy to really think about/worry about the opposite sex. But alas, it was not to be. Well, at least it's only being asked to coffee--I can go, talk, and decide what happens from there. It'll be interesting, if nothing else.
