Ooh, an update!
Got back from road trip to Oregon yesterday... it was very, very fun and involved lots of hostelling, awesomewonderful chauvanist great-uncles, and tasty Thai food. As well as more sun than any of you Santa Cruz suckers got. Hah.
In about 1/2 hour I'm off to the airport to go to San Diego for Passover, whoo.
Today I went to Sylvan and tried an electric violin, and everyone working there made the assumption that I was a twenty something, which was amusing, and one guy working there REALLY made that assumption and seemed bit too interested in whether or not I needed help with anything. So I mentally was laughing at him when he asked if I needed help for the 4th time.
I plan on playing with the minds of Jewish relatives with something very un-Laurel involving Punk clothing, red lipstick, and a jeans jacket with Elvis on the back.
Mmmm. Soon will have access to a computer that supports ADOM. Will be fulfilled. Nethack sucks.
