I had a dream about Dress U last night. I only brought one costume with me, which I wore all day Friday and again on Saturday. Then it was time to get ready for the court dinner, and since I only had one costume with me I had to drive home, get changed, and drive back an hour each way. I don't know what goes on in my head these days...
In other Dress U news, I'm only spending Friday and Saturday night at the hotel, and I'll be going home Sunday evening after tiaras and jampagne. My original plan had been to wear my pink natural form ballgown for that, but since I'm leaving from there I've decided to do regency all day Sunday, because that's a lot easier to drive in. So I'll wear the natural form gown for the court dinner instead and everything will work out perfectly. I need to finish my bonnet for Sunday, and I'm making a new petticoat to go with the pink and white mantua because I'm planning on wearing that Friday evening for the picnic. Easy stuff that I should be able to finish tomorrow, because today I'm finishing a camera bag I'm making for my mom as a late birthday present.
And in completely unrelated news, I made these in the accessories design class I took this semester!
I've used the clutch and the pink belt a few times already. The red belt is for the Burgundian gown I hope to make soonish with some beautiful brown brocade I've got waiting.
