Oooh, saw this on my flist from a_rough_book and of course, with my year of book reading I really wanted to give it a go.

Day 1 - Book you are reading right now

Wings by Aprilynne Pike. I'm not sure what I think of it at present, it was suggested to me by someone (possibly on her? Apologies for being unable to remember if it is.) and so far I'm on the fence. I'm ( Read more... )

yes, wings in considered "young adult"- and on the verge of 30, I should probably be ashamed I red them, but, well, they are quite carefree, and makes for a good day. and also, in English, the wing series helped me to catch up wiht actual books in English, and not only movies, posts and fan-fictions...
glad you took my suggestion, I'll keep in mind (one day, I amy or may not ask you to repay the favor) and really a nice post, i'll enjoy the next 30 comments. They'lll make nice suggestions...
(when you'll get to first book you ever read, I'll tell you a very funny story about my very first book....)
(I also envy you very much for his amazing series of post you'll make, because I would like to talk about books the whole time- like i would read them the whole time, for my dad's great horror, and my wallet's tears. also, gues who's going to the International book fair of Touring this weekend??)

That sounds so much fun! What is that?! Book fairs, anything to do with books, like yeah!!! Hehe. Ooh yes, thanks for the suggestion, the sample got my attention enough and then I looked and it was £1.99 for my kindle, books are usually around £7/8 and to buy Wings in print it is £7, so it was definitely worth the cheapness. I can't wait to do more of these memes. :)

it's over 8.000 squared metres of books and meeting with authors from all over the world, small publishers and big ones, for children and adult, digital, audio and on paper (this year the theme is the increasing of e-books sellings). funny doesn't even start to describe it, trust me! it's been a couple of years since last time i've been able to go, but everytime I do, i come back home quite happy, and soemtime s with authographs from intellectuals from all over the world..
