You cruel, cruel woman. Not only did you kill him off, but you killed him off on his birthday. Poor Lisbon, poor Annabeth.
Then again, Lisbon, this was preventable. He came at you with a plea for help and you ignored him. Well, you told him the facts and you didn't bend the rules for him like you would other people. Jane. Then again, if she had, maybe it could have been worse? Maybe it wouldn't have just been Tommy there? It could have been Tommy *and* Van Pelt. We don't know exactly what happened when he got himself killed.
However despite the fact he got himself killed I almost feel proud of him for managing to keep the job. But Lisbon's 'stay safe, Tommy...' at the end of 4x06 *shudders*
I also feel the need to say: OH MY GOD, WAINWRIGHT MADE A WISE DECISION. :O And I still love Rigsby's mention of her brother being there.
I know you're feeling underconfident with this, but really it was wonderful. There isn't much good gen fic in this fandom, but I think I've found another to add to the list. :D

I imagine, had all of these things happened, Lisbon would be sick and tired of picking up after him! I can't imagine it's easy having to do that well into your adulthood.
