I do happen to have a paid account, but I actually got the layout from noveltybox. I don't know if there's any reason why people without a paid account can't use them. There's also fruitstyle who do some awesome layouts. There's heaps of communities out there though, I found one that does do layouts for free accounts, so if you find the ones from the other pages don't work, try something like freeuserlayouts.

Thank you! Another LJ related question- do you have to have a paid account to set up a community? I know you set/co-set up the mentalist bb communities... it is not to hard to set one up?

Nope, you definitely don't! It's relatively easy to set it up, it's a bit like a personal page in terms of layouts and such. It can be a bit annoying getting the basics in place though. Hehe. Are you planning on setting up a comm? :)
