i am what i am
i know that a lot of people aren't like me and therefore don't read userinfos about people. so i figured that maybe an introduction post will do the trick.
boys and girls, i bring to you
-> the name's pamela but unless i am in trouble, don't call me that. it's pam. on occasion it's also pammy, pammy lane (cos we all know it wasn't penny lane) or pammylicious.
-> i am 20.11, but i'm trying my hardest to not let it show. my birthday is april, 15th.
-> i live in berlin, germany. i live in an area that i call 'the hood', pretty much right in the center of the city. i have a love-hate-relationship with this town. on one hand it is the coolest (and biggest) city in germany and ranks high amongst the coolest cities in europe. but GOD, sometimes this shithole drives me mental. people are utter bastards (which means i'm probably one of them)
-> i live with my mother. which is crazy at my age, but we're both doing it for the convenience and because it's probably safer for me to not live alone.
-> i am fighting an ongoing battle with depressions for a good five years now. it peaked in an almost suicide-attempt on new years eve 2005/2006. almost attempt because there was one thing that kept me from it at the very last second. for the biggest part of 2012 i've been feeling really well though, apart from a few panic and anger attacks (when i get angry, i basically hulk shit up). the end of 2012 and the most part of 2013 was not good though.
-> i am fluent in german, english, sarcasm, subtext, innuendo and quotes from songs, films and tv-shows. i am also very blunt so unless you can handle the truth being told to you in an almost brutal way, don't ask for my opinion. sugarcoating isn't my thing and i have no subtitles either. i am a realist and a cynic too.
-> most of my friends live on the interwebs. i do love my friends more than anything else. they keep me sane. i wish they knew. and for some, i wish they cared as much as i do.
-> i love boys. i have a crush on this guy or that guy all the time. i don't know if i'm capable of a relationship and i don't care about sex either. but on the other hand i wouldn't mind having someone to kiss on a regular basis. i think a guitar makes a guy 20 times sexier than any other instrument and i get turned out by creativity, talent and passion. the perfect men are athletes and musicians.
-> music is the first, last and only love of my life. if my parents did one thing right in my upbringing, it was having music around. my dad used to be a drummer and my mum is a massive fan of the rolling stones so not only did they introduce me to music, they introduced me to cool music.
i used to like cheesy pop-music and boybands. now i'm all for rock music. green day have been one of my favorites for 16 years almost to the day. i also like blink 182, the foo fighters, the used, 30 seconds to mars, my chemical romance, papa roach, plain white t's and everything that makes a good amount of noise.
-> there is this one bands that i love more than all the others though.
simple plan. first i heard about them was 2002 and they first stepped into my life on february, 16th 2005. since then i've seen them almost 30 times in germany, uk, the netherlands and belgium. we're on a first-name basis and hug when we see each other.

-> i sing. loudly. and in tune. people tell me i'm good at it.
-> i swim. the water is my safe haven. it helps to calm me down.
-> meeting 'famous' people is fun. i've been doing that since i was 14, it's my second nature.

'dawson's creek' is still my favorite. it got me through puberty and is better than any form of therapy. five seconds into an episode and i'm in a completely different state of mind. i also love/like 'bones', 'new girl', 'how i met your mother' and the good 'old' stuff like 'friends', 'gavin and stacey', 'spaced' or 'my so-called life'.
-> i love watching sports. swimming, football, formula one, skihopp and men's tennis. i rarely support germans in each of the sports.
my favourite swimmers are aaron peirsol and ryan lochte (i'm a slut for backstroke and ryan lochte's underwater skills) and i generally love the american swim team. my favourite football team is liverpool fc. my favourite f1-drivers are jenson button and sebastian vettel. i love the norwegian skihopp-team and my favourite tennis-player is andy murray.
