(no subject)
Holy shit. I realized that I now use my lj so infrequently that I have forgotten how to do some of the stuff I used to know how to do. That's so sad. Not that I'm patient enough to try to figure it out now.
So I went to look at apartments last night. I saw 3. I was supposed to see 4 but I couldn't find the last one. It was dark and it was snowing pretty hard so I just decided to give up and head home.
The first apartment ... ehhh ... it was alright. It was not very modern .. and the living room was TINY. The bedroom and kitchen were a decent size. It had a really pretty bar inbetweent he living room and the kitchen. It was 'cozy', it was also very affordable.
The second apartment was bigger but set up really odd. It had a lot of wasted space which was annoying. And the heater vents were just in random spots thru out the room which I found quite annoying as well. It did however have a washer and dryer right in it which was nice and the bedroom you walked down 3 steps to get into and had a deep red carpet which was kind of neat. It was the same price as the first only it didn't include heat.
The third apartment ... I seriously had an orgasm just walking into the closet in it. HUGE walk in closet in the bedroom. Really large bedroom. 1 large and 1 HUGE closet near the door. HUGE living room and a reallly cute modern kitchen and a nice size dining area. Nice clean modern bathroom as well. And beautiful cream colored rugs. HUGE balcony that was lighted. I mean this apartment ... seriously. I think I actually have a crush on the apartment. How sad is that?! But it's qutie a bit more expensive. Over $150 more a month than the first one.
I don't know what to do. I've never fallen in love with an apartment like that. Like I seriously think that if I moved in there I wouldn't move again until I bought a house or had to relocate again. I mean that's how gorgeous it was. Beautiful area ... just absolutely perfect. But I also don't want to make myself strapped for cash right from the beginnning.
So I didn't get much sleep last night. And after much thought I think what I am going to do is go with the first apartment. It's only a 6 month lease. And once I get my finances more figured out if I'm able to I'll move in to the other apartments. It's a small complex so even if there aren't any available then I could wait it out for awhile. Once the 6 month lease is up on the first one it's a month to month lease so that's not bad. ugh ... It makes me sad tho ... But I want to be able to put fabulous stuff in my fabulous apartment. Not be broke and not be able to buy anything because I'm paying it all to my apartment.
Who knows maybe I will go see some more this week. It looks like I'm going to be in a hotel for at least this first week so ... that means I have antoher week to look at places. Blah. That was the other problem, the first one isn't available until the 1st (someone still lives in it). The second one is available now, I could move this weekend if I wanted to. The third one they said they would finish up this weekend and I could move in anytime next week. Ugh what to do what to do.
