 Hi! I'm new to livejournal! I hope everything works out. I'm still trying to figure out how this works X'D...

Here are a few icons I made

Question: can anyone tell me; the easiest way to upload an icon in a post? It took me ages to upload this... maybe there's a quicker way..? Please tell me!

I did use some textures from other people, but I didn't

Hey again! I deiced to have a look at your journal after seeing your icons at hpicons, and I was wondering if you might want to be LJ friends? You seem pretty awesome ^_^

In answer to your question, I normally find it easiest to do three things when posting icons on livejournal:

1. Save the icons on your computer as something easy to remember, such as "Angstier.001.png" (with your username), then the next one "Angstier.002.png", then "Angstier.003.png" until you have all the icons organized. Not only does this tell people who made the icons when they save them to their desktops, it also makes step 2 easier…

2. Upload the icons to photobucket (after making an account) to make the URLs of your icons consistent. Which makes it easier for step three…

3. Use an icon table generator. You just have to separate all the icon URLs with semicolons and it'll code it all for you. And since you'll have all your icons saved as "Angstier.001" et cetera, and since you upload them with photobucket so the URLs of the icons will all be like this: " http://i1203.photobucket.com/albums/bb393/angstier/Angstier001.png " it's a lot quicker to upload your icons to livejournal, all you have to do is keep changing the numbers of your icon URLs when using the generator (the '.001' becomes '.002' for the next icon, etc) and you're all set.

Of course, it still takes quite a bit of time, but it's still alright. I would also suggest making a graphics community, like I did with ourdeal. Hope this helps ^_^
