Notes 'n' stuff....
First of all, I want to say thank you to everyone for all of the wonderful birthday wishes and for making this one of the best birthdays ever!!! djvitae , your karaoke performance with the Handicapped Butt-Plug Sheep (aka Romeo) was priceless!!!! sindarella666 & lifenshadows666 ...you are veeeeeeerrrrrry sneaky. :)
But, on to bigger things that are on my mind. Work is, of course, long and tedious and this new schedule of 4 ten hour days is killing me slowly. But even that seems small since this freaking hurricane. Katrina has destroyed everything in it's path with no mercy. What makes it worse for us, is that my brother, Steve and his family live in Biloxi. And my sisters, Tracy and Julie live in Ocean Springs with their families and we have absolutely no way to find out how they are or even where they are. No power, cell phones aren't working-nothing. They showed what's left of Biloxi & Gulfport on CNN today. That damned hurricane picked up an entire casino and carried it several hundred yards-THE WHOLE FUCKING CASINO!
I haven't seen anything as far as Ocean Springs goes, yet. But, it's within spitting distance of Biloxi and I've been told that it has also been devastated. I know there's a Red Cross number people can call for news of families, but of course, that's jammed up, too.
Hell, I don't know what to do. Well, there's nothing we can do right now except wait for news. I'm sure they must be okay.
I registered them on the NOKR, so maybe that will help to get some info our way.
