(no subject)
Why do my neighbors feel the need to play their car stereos so loud that the bass vibrates the pictures on my freaking wall??? It doesn't even matter what time it is. I know if I sleep with my window open, I will wake up between 4 - 5 a.m. becaue the person who delivers my paper has their stereo up louder than hell. I don't mind it when my neighbor plays the piano, sax, or another instrument. He's definitely the most musically talented person I've lived near! :) But when all I hear is random bass thumpings...that's just irritating.
Wow! I just stepped outside to have a ciggie and there was an ambulance at someoone's house a few doors down. Fortunately, they didn't take anyone out on a stretcher. Last week, one of my neighbors was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. That was upsetting because she's been battling ovarian cancer for a couple of years. She was laid off from her job and now has NO INSURANCE to cover her treatments. I'm still waiting to hear how she's doing. I was told that she's been getting treatment at Duke-something they did in her spine. Her friend said he thinks they nicked a nerve or something, because she keeps losing the use of her legs since the last treatment.

They have no idea what they want to do with us at work. "You're going upstairs." "No, we're going to keep you downstairs." "No....we're going to keep you downsatirs for a while and then move you upstairs." And all the while, the bottom line is when personal account lines are busy, we'll take those calls. When business is busy, we'll take those calls. No downtime at all anymore.
Too much has been going on this week. Apart from the worst case of physical PMS I have EVER had-I came home and slept on the sofa for at least 3 hours every day-I have just been trying to catch up on stuff. I'm sleepy now...but I know I won't be able to sleep yet.
