Amongst the many wonderful prompts at the LM kinkmeme, someone suggested a Les Misérables/Count of Monte Cristo crossover, and now I'm dying because I want it SO MUCH.
Like, it wouldn't have to be slashy or smutty or anything! I just want to see Jean Valjean and Edmond Dantès compare notes have epic discussions on revenge and forgiveness and grace and suffering! GAH. Who do I need to bribe for this to happen?
I swear, if I'd read the Brick in full and The Count recently enough to remember all the details, I would try it myself. If I could tear myself away from writing all the Valjean/Javert smut, that is. As it is, I'm just going to flail away here, hoping some kind soul will have mercy on me.
This is what my new fandom is doing to me: killing me with its awesomeness, one braincell at the time.
