Tintin and Haddock sound well-done
Tintin and Haddock definitely have a bromance going on in the movie. They even hug at one point! (Granted, it's a lots-of-backslapping sort of hug, but still.) I thought Tintin looked younger than in the comics -- I find the drawn version of him to be rather ageless -- but not young enough for the thought of slash to squick me out. Mind you, I was sad to see that movie!Haddock is not nearly as hot as comics!Haddock. Though I'm possibly not supposed to find any of the Tintin characters hot in the first place.
Sakharine as the main villain is a but random.
He's actually a pretty fun villain, complete with evil laugh and all. *g* The main reason behind his villainy was a bit wtf, but also kind of brilliant -- and as mentioned above, it did make for a fun showdown at the end. *tries to stay away from spoilers*
I hope you'll get to see it soon! I'll be interested in hearing what you think. :-)
