I need help
I'm not writing anything at the moment. Feels sort of good, actually.
But: I do plan to spend some of my Christmas holidays committing HP fanfiction. Thing is, I have ideas for about four fics in my mind, all of them very different. They do have one thing in common, however - they all demand to be full stories, not mere drabbles. I don't have the capacity to work on all of them at once, but I can't decide which one to start with. It's a bit frustrating, to say the least.
That's why I thought I'd turn to you, dear friends list. If you would take a look at the possibilities and tell me which one is your favourite, it would help me a lot. (It would be even more helpful if you would give me a reason or two for writing the fic in question, just in case people have very different opinions.)
It's quite likely that I'll write at least some of these anyway, but I can't promise anything, so you should pick the one that you'd definitely want to see written. (If you don't like any of them, that's all right too.)
The options are as follows:
1. An AD/ED fic in which Elphias seeks out Aberforth for the purpose of resolving things between the Dumbledore brothers. (This one's been on my mind for ages.)
2. Another creepily-but-happily-ever-after Grindeldore AU, from Albus' POV this time, dealing with more of their actual 'work'. This one could be a challenge, seeing as I would have to find out what Dark Lords actually do. Besides each other, that is.
3. Smutty fic featuring Grindelwald and two of his handsome henchmen. (It was
aurora_knight who gave me the idea, by the way.) This one would be from an original character's POV, which I think could be an interesting way to explore GG from another angle (so to speak) - but if you hate OCs, you certainly shouldn't pick this one.
4. Remus/Sirius fluff-angst dealing with Sirius' frustration over being trapped in Grimmauld Place during book 5. (Hardly original, I know, but it still feels like it might turn out all right.) Will probably be R-rated.
So what do you think? Do any of these sound like possibly interesting fics to you? If that's the case, which one should I start to work on?
