Yes, it is my turn again to host the Write Every Day challenge, incidentally six months after I did so last time. (Where did the year go?!) This time, I'm only hosting the first two weeks of the month, and then
sylvanwitch takes over on the 15th.
How does it work?
You work on your writing projects -- whether fanfic, profic or nonfic -- every day. In turn, I'll put up check-in posts every day, and then you can report about your progress (or lack thereof) in the comments. There's no minimum wordcount and no competition. In each post, I'll include a tally with the participants who checked in at earlier posts, for accountability's sake.
Goals for the month
If you like, state what your goal(s) for the month is/are. Mine is to "unofficially" win NaNo, which is to say that while I didn't sign up, it would be fun to try for a daily average of at least 1.6k, which
esteliel informs me is the daily NaNo word count. I'm pretty certain that 50k would come in useful by the end of the month.
Today's writing
I wrote 1.6k's worth of academic article (including references, admittedly), and then a couple hundred words of fic in the evening. November is off to a productive start!
What about you?
