I saw the juggernaunt that is the Johnny Depp Show

How many more can they do? I mean really, Willis..

Thought I was working Sat night, then that got cancelled, then got a phone call from a mate, 45 mintues later, I was sitting next to a over hyped 15 year old fangirl in the second row of the cinema.

Yikes.

I could feel my neck spasming by the 3rd ad, so we shifted 4 rows back (after making a line move over and squish up - seriously, people don't have arm rest cooties...) which still had the trippy feeling of everything seemingly happening over my head, sans nausea.

Internally booed at the Shrek trailer, got waaay too tense in the Rise of the Silver Surfer and sniggered at Jon Voight's "my god" line in the Transformers which was followed by a "Shiaaaaaaaaa!!!".

I can't actually remember much from the film. Not as much as I would have liked, anyway. It was def. a improvement on the second (which tanked in my opinion)  but it was more confusing than the first two put together (still not getting that dice game that Will, Jones and Bootstrap were playing...and I've watched that scene about 6 times. With subtitles. In multiple languages, ha). Didn't really catch Elizabeth's Fathers death that well or any of the Sparrow/Cutler haggling scene in his quarters (btw, Cutler's demise scene - wow, possibly one of the coolest I have seen in a long while...). Loved, loved Keith's cameo, was utterly disappointed by the lack of Norrington. WHY WRITERS WHY?! Not that I have issues with him being in his yellow and blue brocade, but he was just so underused. And he acts like a ponce for most of his screentime.

Was so stoked when Mullroy and Murtogg popped their heads up again (good dogs names, yes?) and then swing over to the pirate side with complimentary long hair, lol.

The spesh effects were brill though, even if the running time wasn't. Too long. Towards the end I just wanted it to be over. And Will and Elizabeth? 10 years a sea, one day on land? SPEWING. Better make it a good day, mate..I bet that in the next film she's preggers. Orlando was hotter in this film though, than the first or the second. Don't know why. He wasn't half naked or anything. I don't get my hormones (apologies for anyone who didn't really want to hear about my hormones...)

Ladies! Will you please shut it? Listen to me. Yes, I lied to you. No, I don't love you. Of course it makes you look fat. I've never been to Brussels. It is pronounced "egregious". By the way, no, I've never met Pizzaro but I love his pies. And all of this pales to utter insignificance in light of the fact that my ship is once again gone. Savvy?

CLASSIC.
