(no subject)
Ok so just a super quick update before i run off to another shindig (just got home from last night's one in melton! madness!), anyway yes, update on the jobby thing.
Interview went pretty well i think, the person interviewing me didn't seem very energetic or lively at all so it was hard to be excited when she was so bland. But she seemed like a nice enough person, and the venue itself is very cute :) I'd only be working fridays and saturdays (9pm-3:30am lol), but apparently it goes crazy on those nights, like 300+ people in a tiny place crazy. Also they don't do cocktails or food (weird!), so reality is they don't have a huge range of alcohol there and i'd spend most my time doing spirit mixers and beer on tap. With "mainstream" dancey music, wooh! So yeah, i'm just excited about the fact that i might get money soon, i mean if i got this job that would be maaaaaad awesome, heck i'd do it just because it's on brunswick street and looks like a castle. She said she'll let me know by tuesday, so i'll keep you all updated.
So yeah, off to cook for a dinner party now! Thanks for all the luck wishes yesterday, much appreciated ^-^
