Top Sixteen Seasons of Scripted Television of the Last Decade
Now, my opinion on this is incredibly limited, I’m only 20 and I didn’t really start watching television until 2004 and I’ve never seen some of the best shows of the decade (The Sopranos, The Wire, Band of Brothers, Arrested Development, The West Wing etc.) But of the television that I’ ( Read more... )

I WANT TO WATCH MAD MEN SOOOOOOO BADLY. I really need to get on that.

I love s3 of The Office too. And I didn't even mind Karen (shhhhh, don't tell bazcat89). I think I mainly love it because my favorite person ever, Andy, is there. Dear lord, I love him.

And Dollhouse. I want to watch that.

Awwww, your s1 Who caps make me nostalgic. I haven't watched it in so long!

Watch iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. It's actually the most brilliant show ever, I love it so much.

hahahah I know shhhhh HIDE THE KAREN LOVE FROM LIZ. SHE WILL ATTACK. I love Andy so much. when I was picking the pictures for season 3 I was like OMG MUST HAVE THE PICTURE OF ANDY FLOATING AWAY IN BEACH GAMES. 100% NECESSARY.

I like Dollhouse but a lot of people don't so go in with an open mind, but def watch it (after you watch Mad Men of course) :)

Also yes! I love series 1 of doctor who, Niiiiiiiiiiiiiineeeeee be miiiiiiiiiineeeee (see what I did there >_>)

I must. My best friend loves it, so theoretically she'll burn me copies of the seasons. Hrm.

ANDY FLOATING AWAY. DEAR GOD, HE'S MY FAVORITE. I also love his banjo playing. And "Andy Bernard does not lose contests. He wins them. Or quits because they're unfair."

I've only seen series 1 once! Which is a cardinal sin, I know. It's my love for David Tennant. Every time I'm like "I sort of want to cry a bit...I'll watch Parting of the Ways/Bad Wolf," I rethink it and am like "OR I COULD JUST WATCH THE END OF DOOMSDAY. AND THEN NEW EARTH. AND THEN ALL OF SEASON 2."

Considering how much I disliked Andy in season 3, he's really grown on me. He brings the lulz.

I recommend an s1 rewatch because if you were like me and watched it the first time all eager for Ten to show up, you may not have noticed that s1 is actually really good. As much as I love season 2 for shipper flail and some of its better episodes, I think s1 has more consitently strong episodes. When I first loaded "Rose" and Christopher Eccleston appeared I was like EXCUSE U WHAT IS THISSSS but then by End of the World he was already so awesome I did not even care. I can never be properly sad in Parting of the Ways when he regenerates, but that episode IS really kickass.

I WILL BE SAD ENOUGH FOR THE BOTH OF US. NIIIIIIIIIIIIYYYYYYYYYYNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE (see the Y is there so you get the proper whiny tone when you read it outloud in your brain :D)

I don't think I liked Andy season three but I like him so much now that when I go back and WATCH season three, I like andy a lot more.

"Thank you, Michael, for welcoming me to your little kingdom, Michael, Mike Scott"

I'm not, like, happy to see him die, but any sadness is cancelled out by my immediate :D :D AWW BB TEN reaction, it must be said. I'm sure once Ten regenerates I will be able to relate better.

I was sort of like that with Donna. I didn't like her much for about half of season 4, but now when I go watch the episodes I didn't like her in I'm like LOL LOL DONNA ILU. I haven't rewatched much of The Office s3 so it might be the same with Andy.

LOL pretty much mine too. That Children in Need clip is my favourite ever. (You saw that, right?) Also he looks like, ten years younger there vs now, LIRL.

I really like s1 and I definitely thought the episodes were stronger than other seasons. (Um. Nothing in s1 compares to the horrors of Love & Monsters. Nothing.) I love the Dickens one sfm. And Dalek is good. And Father's Day!! And Empty Child/Doctor Dances!

Parting of the Ways makes me really sad when he puts her in the TARDIS and sends her home. At that point, I didn't really know what was going to happen, so I bawled like a child.

UGH LOVE AND MONSTERS WHY DO YOU EXIST.

I really love Dalek, Father's Day, the 3-part finale, and End of the World. I REALLY love End of the World, IDK why, I just feel all warm and fuzzy when I watch it. I think it's because it was the first episode where I really understood how the show was going to function and what was going to happen and I was just so excited because I was like OMG NEW SHOW TO WATCH THAT IS AWESOME :D
