So...Last weekend was AWESOME!! :DDD
Friday I went to Universal Studios to pick up my pass and hang out with Linda for the day and OMG IT WAS SO GREAT!! There was like NOBODY there! The most we waited for a ride was like 15 minutes.Plus Harry Potter World is getting built up really fast too! You can actually see Hogwarts castle now(still unfinished but OMG SO COOL *0* )
THEN! Linda and I went to see The Princess and the Frog at the awesome theater in CityWalk and
...I LOVED THAT MOVIE!! Yes I have been reading reviews on lj from awesome artists like halcyonjazz and vejiicakes about some of the flaws the movie had plot-wise,pacing,and character-wise BUT BUT BUT IT WAS STILL AMAZING!!
I CRIED! I CRIED A BIT DURING SOME OF THE SCENES OR I WAS JUST SMILING SO MUCH!!The animation was just so...nostalgic and beautiful.ESPECIALLY DURING TIANA'S SONG ABOUT HER DREAM RESTAURANT! That was the most beautiful thing I have seen in a long time.
Oh and HOLY CRAP PRINCE NAVEEN IS HOT XD.I am sorry but yes he is and I love the fact that HE falls hard for Tiana, not the other way around.He was also such an ass at times but that was okay at times! I just loved his VA.So smooth...*sigh*
And speaking of Tiana, I think she is the best princess for little girls to look up to because she worked hard for her dreams and then got her happily ever too.That's something I could had when I was little.
Facilier had the best song and animation I thought.I quite enjoyed him and his friends from the otherside.
BUT CHARLOTTE WAS MY FAVORITE!I LOVED her animation personality and, well, Linda said that was totally me XD.And I was like,"No...Really?" and then she fan-girled on-screen with Naveen, and I was like,"Okay she is me.But I don't care!"
I so plan on seeing this movie again but this time with my ma.:3
SO AFTER THE MOVIE, Linda dropped me off at the hotel that ma and I were gonna stay at for the weekend and THEN IT WAS TIME FOR DISNEY WORLD!
WHICH WAS PACKED AND SO FUCKING BUSY ON SATURDAY X_X!
Magic Kingdom was the worse outta all 4 parks I think!I felt very sorry for those parents who couldn't buy a hard drink after that mess.Thankfully, it was open in till 1 AM but it was still busy when ma and I went to redeem our fast passes for Space Mountain.We only went on that ride and Haunted Mansion for the 2nd time that day.I am so glad we only went on a few rides eariler that morning and jumped to EPCOT for lunch.Much fun and sooo delicious.
Sunday was our last day and all I wanted to do was just go to MGM(okay it's now called Hollywood Studios but it was MGM when I was little >_>;)and ride Tower of Terror and the Rocking Roller Coaster.Which is we did but we had to get fast passes for both of them because THAT PARK WAS ALSO PACKED AS HELL TOO! Ma and I also rode the movie ride, which made us wanna watch Marry Poppins and Singing in the Rain.
Then I picked out some Christmas gifts at the gifts shops and ma drove us home.I think I haven't that much fun in awhile.:3
My only gripe about the trip was that I was mad that they didn't have all this cool Princess stuff or cute toys when I was little.I kept seeing little girls dressed up as Princesses and I saw a few Alices as well.It was all too cute to handle really.
Ma was sad because she can't buy anybody in our family these toys anymore because we're all too big or are getting too big for them.But what I really didn't like is the lack of Princess and the Frog merch.It's reasonable because it just came out on Friday.I did get a Tiana pin and figure for my room though so that made me a bit happy.Now I just need that artbook for Christmas and I will be happier! :D
But now I'm tired and I kinda wished I checked my friend's page to see the ontd_startrek friending meme before watching Mary Poppins with dad.I guess I could do it tomorrow but...meh.I could always wait for the Party Post, although I rather just comment till somebody decides we should be friends because we both like the same awesome shit XD.
