Please allow me to express my deepest regrets on my and my father's behalf at our inability to attend your celebration of Draco's appointment to Hogwarts Board of Governors. I heard it was a raging success and that everything was conducted with the usual Malfoy elegance and grace.
I had been looking forward to attending when the Japanese delegation showed up early and I was forced to play chaperon. My father, as you may or may not be aware of, is out of the country and will remain away for the next few months. He and I both send you our best wishes and congratulations.
