I love suspense novels...especially if they're in paperback. For two years, all I read was murder mysteries, suspense and legal thrillers. It got so bad that I read some of them more than once. My very, very, very favorites are the ones set in DC. My summer reading list is heavy on my beloved paperbacks but I am striving to include a few from other genres. So, in no particular order:
*
Harbor by Lorraine Adams
*
French Women Don't Get Fat by Mireille Guiliano
*
Thank You for Smoking by Christopher Buckley
*
Exact Revenge by Tim Green
*
Havana Room by Colin Harrison
*
Playground: A Childhood Lost Inside the Playboy Mansion by Jennifer Saginor
*
The Forgotten Man by Robert Crais
*
Chore Whore: Adventures of a Celebrity Personal Assistant by Heather Howard
*
Garlic and Sapphires: The Secret Life of a Critic in Disguise by Ruth Reichl
So far, I've finished:
*
The Rule of Four by Ian Caldwell and Dustin Thomason
*
Inside the Ring by Michael Lawson
*
The Power Game by Joseph Nye Jr.
*
Keys to the City: Tales of a New York City Locksmith by Joel Kostman
