Survival of the fittest I think. Full day 8am to 6pm. 1 hour break in the middle. MG is an excellent teacher I know! but if you are in his class you are not sitting in your seat in silence, you are thinking and opening your mind up to whatever new concepts there is to offer for that lesson. Having a 2 hour lecture followed by a 1 hour tutorial late afternoon till night may just tip me over the edge haha just kidding!!! I'm going to be a teacher some day and i'm guaranteed to be staying up marking homework till much later than 6pm...or maybe I won't give out any homework?? :o)
So lets talk about the lecture today......
MG mentioned something about how Blake is against the way humans see their religious beliefs as better than any other. I think this is true but in order to believe in something, you have to be passionate about it. If you thought another religion was better than your own then why wouldn't you cross over to that religion??
Being raised as a catholic my whole life, I would be lying if I didn't think my religion was superior to others. That's not to say I despise other religions and there beliefs at all, I am just really proud to be a catholic and faith is an extremely important part of who I am. Blake sees all religions as one but i'm not convinced, I believe each religion as similarities to the next but I'm not sure what he means by them all being one??
Guess the next few weeks will enlighten me....
