Let me point out a few things before I go on a tirade about how my day went today...
--I absolutely LOVE my job 98% of the time!! I couldn't ask for a better job that I enjoy anymore than I do working at The Glass Slipper with Teresa, Angie and Court.
--I enjoy getting to hear about what's still going on in all the local high schools.
--I like getting to see girls I haven't seen in about a year and catching up with them and their lives.
--And I truly love girls asking my opinion on fashion!! haha
OK, now that I've stated all those facts... NOW WHAT I REALLY HAVE ON MY MIND!! haha
(And a few helpful facts when prom dress shopping):
--There is no need to spend more than ONE (1) DAY SHOPPING FOR A DRESS!! NO NEED!!
--Girls that are shopping in January, GOOD IDEA!! The earlier the better!!
--If you want individual attention, and good advice DO NOT DO THE FOLLOWING:
*Come in with 3+ of your closest friends
*YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY (Grandmother, Sister, Cousins, and boyfriend's aunt, etc.)
*Small children
*Your boyfriend or date (Surprise him!! Make him wonder. It will make it more fun.)
*Don't come in 15 minutes before closing!!
And depending on what school you go to, prom lasts only a few hours and you share the night with atleast 100+ other people, make prom shopping fun!! Don't stress!!
Take a deep breath and calm down and everything will be FINE! I promise!
This is my second year working at a Bridal Shop and I went to 4 proms myself!!
I promise that Sunday morning after prom you'll wake up and the world will still be spinning if your toenail polish didn't match the beading on your dress the way you thought it should have, OK??
I swear that you, your date, and your mom will be much happier people if you make prom fun and not stressful!!
Anyway.. just a little word of advice.. I love you guys.. and have a good week!!
Love,
--Mal
