I'm going to join the hundreds of other users in saying: LJ, your new comment page style sucks. I'm sure you had your reasons, I'm sure you did. Implimenting this level of change without reason is, frankly, insane, and you're probably not insane. Inconsiderate, arrogant dickwads who don't listen to their users? Yes, but not insane. So, I'm sure you had your reasons, and I'm sure they were good at the time.
They aren't good enough now. In additional to technical difficulties (slow loading times, incompatible browsers, computer/phone issues), the changes made to the comment pages are literally damaging many of the social aspects of livejournal. There is an internet community-- let's call it fandom-- that is not well-respected, but it is large. There are more people in fandom than there are in some religions, and what's more, they are responsible for a good deal of the paid accounts livejournal has. This comment page style is ignoring their needs and, quite frankly, pissing people off to no end.
Honestly, livejournal, you guys have a lot of work on your hands if you want to not lose users.
