On Saturday I spent all day with Janine, Lala, Rachael, and Nancy at a fabulous workshop by Nancy Roberts (two Nancys) of Machine Knitting To Dye For. Check out her site for classes, kits, and lots of inspiration

Oooh that looks like a lot of fun! Seeing pictures of what this stuff looks like after it's knitted always makes me want to have a knitting machine badly. I can't wait to see your socks!
I have a bit of trouble, but it was at the bulky end of what the machine likes to knit and the yarn was a thick and thin single I hadn't set. I wasn't trying to get gauge, just fabric to paint. All in all, I think it is quite doable.
I think I saw you at Deep Color on Sunday; you were buying heaps of fiber, and I was there for a class...I was going to introduce myself, but I lacked a good opening line ("Hey! I think we're LiveJournal friends!" seemed kind of goofy at the time). :)

That was me. I was in a rush and felt guilty for coming in right before a class. You don't need an opening line. I would be happy to meet you in real life; I have been expecting and looking forward to it. :)
Big fun!! I love to paint everything and that just looks like you all had such a great time. Beautiful colorways but I must say I do like yours the best. So rich!
Thank you. I will definitely have fraternal socks. I meant to put green on both pieces, but made orange instead of green. I was rushing and not paying enough attention. Oh well, can't say I mind either.
