SGA: Hunting Parties, Consequences, and Foreign Affairs I and II
In an attempt to actually post on my lj, I've decided to see if I can post a rec for one interesting fic that I've read in a week. I'm keeping it simple, I'm not looking for Shakespeare. I'm reccing fics that I actually enjoyed reading and/or thought were interesting at the time I post. Maybe new or old, doesn't matter.
Here's my very first one:

This is a series of multiple standalones that center around John's interactions (of the funny and hot sort) with the leader of a nomadic people, after he is rescued from some crazy slavers. My summary probably makes it sound blah, but it's an enjoyable read. =D I'm usually only interested in John/Rodney, but I liked the OMC a lot. I was sold on them as the not-quite-pair they were.
Features: Ford, interesting OMC, OMC of color
There's a fourth story, Aftermath, that takes place before these four stories, but I didn't realize it until after I had read all the four. You can get by fine without it, but check it out too if you like. It's J/R.
