A fun-filled eventful day of interesting-ness....

So, today I went to Elisabeth's and we had a lot of fun! On my way there, I stopped at JoAnn's and bought a 25 yard bolt of muslin for $35. (which is great, btw, as I can never have too much muslin! Petticoats, here I come!). I also bought a matching spool of thread for my dress too.

Elisabeth and I traced out her patterns for a dress bodice, skirt and petticoats. We also looked at some books for ideas.

We pinned me into the bodice of the dress, of which we only had to slightly alter it a little bit. I didn't get a picture, but I'll try and get one later.

We also cut out both of the petticoats too. I think I may start on them soon, like after dinner or tomorrow afternoon or after school on Monday.

So, as for the bodice styles, I think I'll stick with doing my first plan.

Btw, I got somthing else at JoAnns too. I'll give ya a hint. One word. Silk.

So, today, I reseached, drafted, and cut out fabric. Totaling at 4 hours. (funny, I almost got ten hours already and I haven't even started my dress yet, besides fitting the bodice!)
