Rumbler on Board!

Haven't had much time to update lately (or sleep or eat or anything for that matter) Were not making as much progress as I'd hoped. There are boxes everywhere I turn. Tim conveniently forgets the couch, the microwave and Mr. Coffee. But all of his tools and car parts are accounted for. Gotta love that boy ( Read more... )

I was going to ask if you wanted to come with me to the Cursive/Minus the Bear show at Firestone in a few months, because for a moment I forget that by then you'd be incapacitated.

As for Murder City Devils, I found out that before they formed, Spencer the vocalist, Coady the drummer, Dann the guitarist, and even Andrea from Pretty Girls Make Graves were in a band called The Hookers, five songs of which from their only record ended up reworked for the first Murder City Devils record. I think it may have been the bassist, though, and not the drummer, but right now I can't quite recall the specifics. I'm currently trying to locate that record. If and when I find it, I will be happier than God could ever make me. Also, three people from Murder City Devils (Nate, Coady, Spencer) are now in a band called Dead Low Tide. These are both worth looking into, and I plan to be successful in my finds. I believe their first record is coming out soon on Tigerstyle Records.

And hey, I do listen to you. You played Murder City Devils for me a long time ago in your car and I was really impressed. The only reason I skipped the show they played is because I still wasn't too familiar with them, and if I recall correctly, weren't they playing with At The Drive In? That band's shows were always too packed, so I skipped every one of them. Of course, now I feel like a complete asshole about it because I missed such fine Seattle gentleman (and their hot keyboardist companion), but I can accept my stupidity for a moment and instead concentrate on at least just settling for the conclusion that I lost the greatest battle of my life.

So where the fuck did you move?

JARET.

It depends on what you're speaking of. unburiable February 21 2003, 20:32:06 UTC
I get lots of "these." It's what I am paid to do. It's what Universal Music Group sends me overseas to get done. It's what I was doing back in 1998 when mergers destroyed the life and limbs.

Call me. Let's do some cocaine and heroine and paint Mulholland Drive with the blood of film virgins. Let's slash tires and stab crossguards with their vests. Let's hire, let's fire, let's make the milk expire.

Just don't leave me alone tonight in the woods.

I revoke any invitation that might have been given to you or insinuated due to your high metabolism levels. It just makes all the girls scowl. Sound familiar? I'm going to refer to you as Jare from now on just because it's so terrible.

Please take me to the dance.

Do you want to go out and see a movie and kiss under the stars? It'll be like before the invasion of Poland in 1945, only this time we'll be ready for anything those Germans have stuffed under their green sleeves.
