Post-Rent

The third day Post-Rent and I'm finally feeling less exhausted. We're already in rehearsals for Scrooge, but I think that will go much easier as it's not such an intense show to be a part of. I think I'll only have one, maybe two, costume changes. Where in RENT I had half a dozen, a couple which needed to be made within 30 seconds

I really miss the theatre. The closest I get nowadays is karaoke. But it doesn't quite fulfill the need to be on stage and in character.

I hope you're well, and I'll think of you when the bar is doing Rocky Horror in a couple weeks. I still have my costume and I'm gonna wear it this year.

We are doing Rocky Horror at the Civic again this year. We've got roughly the same cast as last year. Obviously you aren't here, so Josh Gorrell is playing Frank this year. He's very excited.

I'm going to be Columbia. I think I hurt Mary's feelings, but I wanted to do it and since Rick is playing Eddie, I felt like that was a good decision for me to make.

Corey Ruddell is going to be Brad and Kayla Comer is going to be the MC. She's got a great costume thought up already. She's going to be Lucille Ball - in black and white. She is wearing all gray clothes, a gray wig, and is going to use gray make up on her skin. I can't wait to see the finished results on that!!

Next time you go to Karaoke, sing a song for me, will ya!? I miss you too.
