eh, janet. it just suddenly dawned on me that isn't your church very far for you, since you stay in the west (near me)?

lol yeah but not all church-goers dress controversially. dont want to damage church reputation ;P it's just an acrylic/ plastic hairband, pretty cheap- got it at a closing sale 3 for a dollar! i go to the one way east! LOL i live near gek poh if you know where it is. im guessin you live near rulang pri!

i think i do. my boyfriend and i got lost once while driving around in the neighbourhood of NTU and by some twist of the roads and lanes we came by gek poh shopping centre. i am within 20 minutes' walk of rulang primary :)

skeletons and Jesus Christ.. very diabolic combination somehow, if you don't mind me saying so. anyway, i would totally love to wear your outfit, with a pearl hairband!

haha that will be an overkill but it'll be so fun! hallowean outfit! how about the octopus tshirt, juxtapose a bit :D

anyway i did an outfit post at newestwrinkle (another lj fashion community) and my writing is drawing flak again. not that i don't allow for differences in opinion, but some people are just plain nasty about it. i've gotten used to it though, what doesn't hurt me makes me stronger. in retrospect perhaps i should thank them for fortifing my courage and belief in myself.

yes some of them are, many lj users who are interested in fashion and stuff are members of both communities. and janet, i am not going to stop posting there just because of the snide, nasty comments these people make. i will not be driven out of a community because some people disagree with me, or because they do not have the manners to keep nasty comments to themselves. there are others who appreciate my posts, and since i am past caring about the cutting remarks the dissenters hurl at me, more fool them i daresay if they work themselves up again into a passion whenever i post with my commentary. they can get irked as much as they want to, but i shall be at peace knowing that i have my full strength of conviction within me.

:) but im always a very vengeful person. actually there are a few characters on wiwt2 who rise above all the initial dissenter's comments and became some of my favourite posters! eg exquisitepaine. :) i hope you get a breakthrough one day! :) :) :)

no no no i LOVE that octopus shirt to bits but i never manage to get it. you like it too?! i would have thought that it's not too streetfashion for your taste. :) it's called a sucker shirt, which i thought reflects me most times. *i just got tricked by a china conster on friday. $10 gone to him who "lost his wallet"*

yup i was from commonwealth. i do think we have many common friends in NTU perhaps! :)

how did you get tricked?! were you all alone? sorry i seem to have missed this comment! i remember when i was much younger, like pri 5 or sth, and i was eating dinner all by myself at some food court.. and this indian guy approached me and kept cajoling me non-stop to donate for some indian fund-raising lucky draw thing. i didn't know how to shake him off, so i just gave him the $1 and ran off -_- $1 was quite a lot to me then, i didn't even have an allowance! anyway, i think these people always approach females who are alone and who look like they can sympathise. it's just too bad of them to make use of this last point. we should in future put on a dao face so these scavengers wouldn't even think of approaching us in the first place.

yeah i was all alone! omg i just think it's unethical the lengths they go to get their money, especially little girls! another time i was looking into the hamster cage and turn away to get another old man who asked me for $$. i totally cannot resist when they say things like "can't find a job"-- totally empathise them though i know theyre abled bodied. haha i cant keep a dao face! trying to rid of my space cadet face already but can't work -__-

why is a jobless man loitering around a pet shop? it sounds like he was just looking around for easy targets and happened to see you. you need to be a little hard-hearted! or you will find yourself falling prey to crooks too often. i know, you can wear shades and look fierce :D

yeah lorh! i was at my school nearby the pet lovers shop looking into the hamsters' enclosure. -__- i was too vulnerable after looking at cute animals gahh. hee shades is a good idea but too fierce for me! would u wear?? lol i think i will just rebut the next person who begs me for money. "i got no money to eat too. thats why i so skinny. u want give me money?" hahaha

haha, that's a good idea.

i would wear, but probably not when i'm in a shopping centre, it will be weird. i will keep them on if i'm shopping around the neighbourhood though. i usually keep my shades on in the train. lazy to take them out. plus, it's so comfortable to hide in my shades. i can look at anyone i please and they wouldn't know :D

btw, i replied you at my blog!
