last year at this same exact time,
i was wondering the same exact thoughts..
i was feeling the same exact emotions

this year, im going to do it all different.
this year, im going to be happy for once, because i want to be happy.
this year, im going to not take no for an answer.
this year, im going to tell casey that i miss her like crazy
this year, im going to laugh with kate for hours and not have to worry about what she thinks of me and some stupid guy.
this year, im going to smile at night, and smile in the shower, and smile while im driving.

because this year
im going to listen to my mind
instead of my heart.

i dont think ive ever been this happy.
