Mainly I just don't like giant venues like that - it feels so impersonal. Plus, there was an annoying raver chick (who looked like she'd been dragged through several gutters in her day) that was next to me in our assigned seats. Thankfully we were able to relocate to 2 empty seats on the end of the row & we could see better & didn't have some chick doing raver dances to the Cure, but literally we had to crane our necks to the right in order to see the stage. The stands we were in pointed directly to the floor for sporting events.
Anyway, I had fun, but I wish 1) it had been shorter, & 2) it had been in a better venue, but that wouldn't have been possible because of the number of fans. Most likely that will be my last arena/stadium type of music event though.

"Ugh" in regards to your raver girl. At least the girl in front of me that kept doing her "interpretive" dance was mildly entertaining, even if her armpits smelled foul. :-/

I have a few acquaintances that were in the first few rows & one of them was actually in the 8th row center. I wouldn't doubt it was her in front of you! I think I'm getting a little too old to hang out with people who wear a costume every where they go. ;)
