Art "On the Wings of War"

A/N: Fanart for alchemyalice's amazing story On the Wings of War. My friend showed me this on the day when episode 6x12 was supposed to be aired and I loved it. Then the episode was postponed so I spent the whole night reading all twenty-four chapters and went home with it stuck on my mind so this came out. The contrast kind of went to hell when I scanned it since I was using a negative film scanner... and I'm terrible at using Photoshop on graphite work... but whatever, I think you'll get the idea.
Edit: So, I was never under the impression that this piece was very straightforward to understand but I figured I should clarify something just in case... anyway, the dark shaded wings are Dean's. The lightly shaded outlines of wings are Castiel's. Where Castiel's wings pass through Dean's, I've made Dean's lighter because I don't really think of Cas' as corporeal, while Dean's are in this 'verse. It makes more sense if you've read the story (which I suggest everyone do). I just got the impression that some people weren't sure on this... Hope this makes sense now! ^^"
