A/N: I'm doing Milton's paradise Lost for an English poetry project. I doodled this when I just didn't want to write out the analysis just yet... I suppose this is probably based off my idea of Lucifer's cage in SPN... yeah, very likely. But really, this was just fun to draw after so long of going without being able to draw thanks to all the stress of photo class. (And btw, I'm passing!! I can graduate!!!) *happy dance*
At once as far as angels ken he views
The dismal situation waste and wild
As one great furnace flamed yet from those flames
No light but rather darkness visible
Served only to discover sight of woe
Regions of sorrow, doleful shades, where peace
And rest can never dwell, hope never comes
That comes to all but torture without end
Still urges and a fiery deluge fed
With ever-burning sulfur unconsumed
Such place eternal justice had prepared
For those rebellious, here their prison ordained
In utter darkness and their portion set
As far removed from God and light of Heaven
As from the centre thrice to the utmost pole.
'Paradise Lost' by John Milton
