Everyday I find myself in new situations, experiencing so many new things. Everything from the medical atmosphere interactions to various student breakdowns to new facts and visuals of how the body works. This next interaction never fails to amaze me:
Apparently whenever I make a slight change to my hair, an angel dies. Granted my new look today may have been a drastic change from yesterday but these people either act like they've never met me or I'm my own twin trying to pull the wool over their eyes.
Once they realize it's really me, it turns into this:
"ooooo that's so pretty!" or "how did you do that and how long did it take?" or "how do you have a new nail color every week?" or "oh, Duana's getting fancy on us!"
No......it's called a ponytail and learning to do a 10 minute manicure at home.
The simplest things seem to amaze them! I guess I have the Clark Kent affect.
