Entertaining
Entertained beardedwonder, Yvonne, David and Brigita last night. The boat was well and truely pushed out and for the first time in my life I bought pasta in a packet tied with ribbon. All seemed to enjoy it and the six of us got through five bottles of wine, so in my view that classes as a wild night :-)
Paul deserves a special mention of thanks and adoration for not complaining when I sent him out to Waitrose after the guests had arrived because I'm forgotton to pick up kitchen foil earlier, and for coming back with both foil and a box of six John Lewis wine glasses so the next time I entertain I'd be able to serve everyone matching ones. Sadly, the box turned out to have only five as one was already broken :-( But it still was an exceedingly sweet thing to do.
So now I'm sitting back, typing away, whilst nibbling easter egg leftovers and contemplating buying a new mop for the flat. This evening I'm going to the bingo. Yes really.
