Look at your LJ "interests" list. If you have fewer than 50 interests, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five interests, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five interests, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of 'em.
List them on your LJ, and tell everyone exactly what it is about these things that interests you so much.
Art - something I know not a lot about, technically, but I know what I do like. The postycards on my wall show some of my favourites and one day I am going to fill my house with my Dad's work.
Books - What's not to love?? I love the smell of them, the feel of them, the weight of a good one (or two) in my bag..and reading them, obviously.
DPT band - Jess is teh sex. Obviously. And they make great music, too .
Drawing - Again, I'm not so good at it but coming out with a half good sketch is always satisfying. Maybe if I stopped trying to draw people..
Geeks -I am one -_-
Glastonbury - Best place ever. Anyone who like music/ Somerset, cider/ being a bit of a hippie/ seeing things that make you do a double take/ talking to strangers/ circus and street performers or combination of the above MUST GO. I get quite evangelical about it (to paraphrase Jonny) .
Hermitude - I like being alone sometimes.
Literature - It's what I'm going to study. It transports you away and makes me want to live a different life as an Austen-era lady of leisure or..well whatever. It's probably more about fantasy to me than anything academic, much to my disappointment. But yeah..there are valuable lessons in there..
Music - You know when you can feel every cell of your bone marrow jiggling around and you think you could run through the streets indefinitely? That's why.
Photography -More to do with looking at things a certain way than what comes out of my camera. It makes me more observant (but still annoys me that I'm not that good)
Postcards - :-D I remember the first one I got was from Coachella..it made everyone seem real suddenly. My favourite one to send was from RFH. Writing "OMG I JUST SAW JONNY" was unreal..
Stencils -Banksy akes me want to go and abuse public property...this is unlikely but I plan to abuse some t-shirts when I can afford it. Still, good graffiti really gets me into this reclamation of public space thing..
the future - What would be the point if I wasn't?
Vegetarianism - I don't like eating meat. Not sure how that happened actually. I totally respect vegans though.
Walking - Preferably at night, with a walkman or in the sun on a hill, alone. It's when I do my thinking.
