Okay, so I know the title of this entry isn't very descriptive, but it's all I could come up with. Happy?
Both dances were better than I thought they'd be, and I had a surprisingly good time with Jamie. He's a great dancer, but seeing as I have two left feet we don't compliment each other very well on the dance floor. We adventually got into a discussion about Ivy League schools and which had better pre-med programs, until Madeline and Lousie dragged us back onto the dance floor again. They couldn't stand having intelligent conversation of any sort at a dance, god forbid, the world would come to an end. From what I saw, though, they both had a good time at the Star's Hollow dance. I didn't see much of them, or Rory for that matter, at the Chilton dance, though that might be due to that fact that Jamie kept my attention for most of the night.
And no,
you two will not be getting any details of my night with Jamie. I don't ask you for details about your dates, do I?
Moving on - It really shows you how small a town is when the announcer at a hockey game calls the puck a ball. I almost throttled that Kirk man, but he adventually shut up, which I was very grateful for. It's a shame Stars Hollow didn't win, but that Taylor man's family might have stayed even longer if they did, clogging the streets with their impertinent attitude's and all, so it was for the best in my opinion. Jamie would've liked to see the game, but he had to go back to Princeton shortly after the dances, so I opted to sit with Rory and her friend Lane. I still don't really understand the whole fake dating thing
she's doing at the moment, but, well, whatever. Not any of my business, really.
I think I'm going to go work on my bi-centennial speech - It's never too early to start working on a speech, in my opinion. Besides, what else is there to do in this town? In 15 years maybe there'll be another semi-final game to watch.
