This day is going to Hell- big time
So I started off this day trying to make it a good one despite all the odds being against me. First, I had to work at 8am, which is normal, but always sucks. Then it was gloomy and rainy. But, that was all ok once I was here and working. It was slightly busy which wasn't too bad. I started to get into a good mood when I had about 10 min. left of work-but oh no, don't get too excited. At 5 min. past the time I'm supposed to leave, I get a phone call that the person working after me has car problems and won't come in for at least an hour. Now I would just leave, since my shift is over, but it doesn't work that way. Since I work alone, I now have to wait. I could attempt to ask to leave, but I will be asked/told to stay anyway. Plus-I didn't order lunch today b/c normally on Sundays it's a short day and I get hungry right about when I get to go home. SO, now i'm sitting here, past when I was suppposed to get off, I'm starving, I'm tried and cranky, and Hurricane Emily is threatening to ruin my much needed vacation! Damn it!
