Well, firstly i have to say i GO SEE SYDONIA!!! I have been this bands bands last three or four gigs and they never stop blowing both my mind and those of James and
dunce_boy. They launched their EP last night to a packed Duke of Windsor and it was great. GOOD WORK SYDONIA!!
poison_black and i drank much mixed alcohol and i really think i'd be a lot worse for wear today if it wasn't for that big glass of water i drank when i got home (along with some left over pizza). Josh and I saw an old "friend" at the Duke (Jay- if that's his real goddam name- who knows with all the lies he spun to us during the start of this year) and he eyed us off all night afraid to say anything, where once he would have been all over us with attention and empty promises in payment of our pity and help. In the words of Paris Hilton, he knows what he did. He did mumble a hello to Josh who reluctantly returned the greeting, but he would have not got the same response from me. He simpers and sots and makes love to us all.
cure_his_heart knows what i mean.
JAY- in the words of Ho Slaps, you wish you were creative.
I've been very busy bugging band bookers for MZ ANN THROPIK - who will be here in late September- and don't even think about not going to their shows because i've said it before, there is too much GREAT talent around to waste on a night in. I'll keep you posted.
Josh's band SISTER ANXIETY is getting to it's feet as well, and they'll be playing with Mz Ann Thropik in Geelong in September. Other bands you may expect to see with Mz Ann Thropik will be Elektro Kore and Sydonia.
I've been watching a lot of Black Books lately.
So, until next time... Orr Revwah!
