So here I sit, looking at the traffic lights...
I'm getting antsy again. Really, I think it's just the impending trip to Denver. I'm getting really excited. We leave in six days! I love having a change of scenery now and then. And new people to hang out with. Have you ever realized just how hard it is to break out of a rut? I mean, how are you supposed to meet new people without being involved in a group, or class, or club, or something like that?? It's HARD. So I like the fact that there will be people in Denver that I will meet and hang out with. Some I know, but there will be parties and the like with mingling. I like mingling. It's much easier when there's a lower chance of seeing these people again. You can be whoever you want. And that's always exciting. :D
This week has me ready to party! Thursday is cookie day, Friday is Britt's 21st AND our family Christmas party, Saturday I work (woohoo), Sunday is Christmas Eve when we're apparently celebrating because, Monday is Christmas and the day Craig and I go to Colorado. Yay for flying on Christmas! I still don't know how I feel about that. I guess we'll see after we land. OH, the one thing I'm really hoping is that it snows in Denver on Christmas. That way I can half a half white Christmas! Hey, it's something.
My mom finally got me measured for my wedding dress! OMG, it's only six months away! That's ridiculous. Hopefully it will be enough time to make all the dresses. I see there being a big problem getting all the girls cornered for measurements and fittings. I think it'll stress me out when the holidays are over. Maybe not, but without any distractions other than work and my upcoming birthday, I'm sure I'll be focusing mainly on the wedding.
MY BIRTHDAY: I so have it planned. Sadly, it falls on a Tuesday, but guess who's coming to Portland Monday night?? SNOW PATROL!!! Heck yes. We got tickets already and this is my plan: I'll be in Portland late for the concert, and at midnight, technically I'll be 21 so I can go to a bar for a few hours. YES! Tuesday I think my parents are taking me out. Really I'm just excited about Snow Patrol since I missed them a few weeks ago. It's gonna be amazing.
