(no subject)
my mom dropped me off at dunkin donuts this morning so she could run an errand and so i could get breakfast. while i was waiting for her, the tables filled up, and this cute old man came over and asked if he could sit with me! he said 'who knows! maybe we'll be good friends. or maybe we won't.' it was so cute but i didn't know what to say to him so we didn't talk. i did tell him to have a nice day as i was leaving, though.
after that i went for a fitting for my bridesmaids dress. they made me try on the whole thing, which was annoying because of my foot. the skirt fits perfectly and the top fit a million times better than the first time i went for a fitting. the seamstress pinned the top a little smaller, and she convinced me to put fake boobs (aka shoulder pads left over from the 80s) in the top. it makes the top lay a lot smoother, but it also makes me look like i just went through puberty (again).
time to go clean. i was told that i had to clean up my clutter from around the house. i asked my father where i should put it and his response was 'well, when you move out you'll have to get an apartment big enough for all of your stuff!' so of course i sucker punched him back with 'when you move out you'll have to move into one of your storage places!' luckily he was amused by my witty banter, but unluckily i have to hobble about the house and clean. you'd think mary poppins would be nice enough to show up on a day like today, but no, she's elsewhere.
