I hate making stupid mistakes - like sewing on a skirt inside out when you're doing french seams. Oh the horror. Instead of ripping out one seam, you've got to do two.

After such a  mistake, I usually take a break. A good long break.  Like . . . go do some homework or something so I feel refreshed and thankful when I come back to sewing, instead of frustrated and up a wall about how I can't keep the darn lovely fabric the correct side out.

It'll all be worth it in the end, right? Has to be done by Saturday. 
 I'm sure I'll be able to finish. *grin* If I can do my pink 18th century dress in a week, I can do this.
