What happens when Anahoney comes to France

Well, we had a lot of fun but I guess that's the least one can expect when 2 or more KKids get together.

So Anahoney arrived on Wednesday 10 in the middle of the afternoon. I picked her up at the train station and then we went home and chatted a lot while I cooked dinner. Funny thing is I had planned to make risotto and Ana was reading a book earlier that mentioned risotto which made Ana crave a risotto and here I come making a risotto because it happens to be the house specialty! Methinks it could only bode well for our upcoming days together.

On Thursday, I had class until mid-afternoon so I booked Ana for a tour early in the afternoon: for 2 hours she toured one of the two hills surrounding Lyon and learned a lot about the silk industry we've had for a long time in town. I picked Ana up after the tour and then we wandered around downtown and Old town. Then we went to dinner in a "bouchon", one of those restaurants that serve local specialties (mostly red meat stuff, liver, tripe). We chatted a lot and forgot about time for the next 3 hours.

Ana unfortunately had to leave the next morning. Her visit here was way too short. Besides, she brought nice weather with her and as soon as she'd left, it went back to a humid and cold fall weather. Ana and I also took bets on which KKid is going to come and visit me next... Anybody's welcome here.;-)

I think that's about it but, Anahoney, please, feel free to add anything I might have forgotten to tell.
