Tremendously excitingness (1 of 3) :)

I had just stepped out of the bath when I got a phone call from my mad big sister Nicky. She said “Are you wearing knickers?” and I replied “As it happens I’m not, I’ve just got a towel around me.” To which she said “Good, I don’t want you to wet your pants!”

She asked me to sit down and then said “Gemma and I have been talking and we’ve decided to give you her Smart Car for your 40th birthday!” *shockety* *shock* *shockness* I was so utterly bowled over I couldn’t speak! Of course I thanked her profusely as it is the most generous gift I have ever been given... then I cried for 4 days as it is the most scariest gift I’ve ever been given *grin* Then as I couldn’t get through to Gemma I phoned Mummy to make sure I wasn’t dreaming it all and she said “No it is all true, Nicky is giving Gemma half the cost of the Smart Car and they are both giving you half the car each!” Then I phoned dedbutdrmng and he was so excited and said not to worry about being able to afford the insurance as he would ask his family to club together for my birthday and christmas presents. *beam* When I finally got through to Gemma I asked if she really could afford to just give me her car and she said that she still was planning on giving me £2000 to finish my bathroom if I didn’t want the car anyway! *beam* Gosh!!! I truly have the most generous, beautiful and kind sisters ever! *yay*

Now of course it will mean I will have to get over my paralysing fear of driving. I passed my driving test first time 9 years ago, and cried every single lesson and didn’t once feel in control... and haven’t driven since. Still, why let a tiny detail like that stop me! *grin*
