(no subject)
So we still haven't got a dog. I wanted to rescue an older dog rather than have a puppy weeing/ pooing all over the place. Puppies are cute and all but toddlers plus shit probably equals ecoli or something and I don't have time for hospital visits. Anyway no dog rescue will rehome a dog to someone with kids under 5 basically so back to square one. Ben is really keen to get one, but he is away a lot at the moment. Emma has a toy dog on a lead and she just drags it about calling it Bruce. I would like them to have another dog. But I am not sure I'm ready yet, still. I've said maybe after we go on holiday- speaking of which.....
Booked 2 weeks off work for trip to Australia to see Ellie at Christmas. With the Christmas break this means we can go for three weeks and the flights were mega cheap. Although as ben says, we are basically paying for 24 hours of a living nightmare. I reckon I can give George calpol and he will sleep for the majority - that's right, I drug my children.
Me and ben have not slept in the same bed for 21 consecutive nights for about 3 years so I'm so excited for that. Plus it will be HOT and I will LOVE that.
