LA Style!
I'm here at Curves. It's slow tonight. I think 6 women have come in tonight since I've been here. I read two articles today about Gary Heavin, the man behind the concept that is Curves. I read earlier that he was a born again Christian and that he donates money to anti-abortion groups. I thought about using that as a reason to quit Curves, but that doesn't really punish God-Lovin' Gary, it hurts Cami, and as annoying as she may be sometimes, I wouldn't want her to suffer. And I know I shouldn't rush into any decisions because I don't know for a fact that what I've read is true. I nearly flipped out when I read that, though. Curves is suppose to be all about woman power and blah blah blah and he gives money to groups who don't believe that women should have control over their own bodies?!!! And Karen, just so you don't start praying for my soul, I do believe there is a difference between pro-choice and pro-abortion. I personally would never get an abortion, (I don't know how Meghan doesn't regret that decision every day of her life) but I still don't think that it should be outlawed. I don't think it should be a form of birth control either. Ugh, I can go on for hours, but I don't feel like it. I've got cake sitting 2 feet away from me. Mmmm...cake!
