I applied to two jobs in ManTech. One in the Bethesda/Glen Echo office and another in the Greenbelt office. I really hope I get the Greenbelt office position. I would love to be able to stay with ManTech even though I'm moving to Maryland.
I had lunch with Tina today. Tina and Frank. That's her boyfriend. So Tina wanted to talk about the engagement and the wedding crap. It was nice and we made fun of Frank which is always a good thing.
I know I shouldn't talk about work on here because goodness know who reads this thing (besides Kara...she's my most loyal fan!), but work is nuts. So I don't know if I wrote earlier about how my boss is in danger of getting a pink slip, but he is. Well, if I were trying to justify my job and make my company keep me, I'd be busting my butt making sure they knew how important and valuable I was. But that's me. Want to hear what my boss decides to do? He takes off 2 hours early to go to a "tool show." And if "tool show" is what he named his house, I'd totally believe him! Kathy (Biz Op Lady) asked me where he went and when I said "tool show" she got a pissed off look on her face and asked me if Nick knew. Nick, by the way, is my boss's boss and Nick is not really someone you want to tick off! I told her that I didn't know if Nick knew. She continued to look pissed off. And I'd like to point out that it's almost June and I still have received my annual review. And it was suppose to be done in April! Guess who's responsibility that is? Yep, Mr. Tool Show!
