Brian got into Stone Mountain as a counselor! Of course I had said a thousand times that I couldn't imagine a scenario in which they wouldn't hire him, but as the weeks ticked on, I was getting huge knots of worry in my heart. Now those knots are completely dissolved, and I am eagerly counting down the days until the summer starts!
Cold Prickly:
My friend had a car accident tonight. Thank God that he is okay, but his car definitely isn't. His world has been a little rocky lately, but had just taken a huge upswing, and then this happens. Not that any of us are in the financial position to get a new car, but he certainly isn't. It's so hard when something like this happens because all of the prayer and the long-distance love in the world isn't going to change the situation immediately. I want so badly to fix it, and I just can't - a miserable lesson to learn.

Picked up some rockin' CDs from the library today and intend to spend a Saturday reading, knitting, and listening to some new tunes.
