I have been going to meetings for a week, have fixed up both "rooms" to some extent. I won't have kids until next week, but they come today. I just don't have them because the teachers have not been ready to make a schedule for me to either come into the classroom or pull out the gifted kids. One of my schools has primarily kids from upper middle class and wealthy families and the other has very poor, mainly Hispanic kids. At one school I have a lovely room, and at the other I have a small "area" on the edge of the library. It is going to be interesting. I am a little bit scared.
